Average donut shop. DD is known for its coffee and it is served quick and hot here, so that's good.

The donuts are fine but if I'm going to pay a premium for a brand name donut at a dollar each or $9 a dozen, it had better be superior to the ones I can get at the grocery store bakery for 75 cents each or $5 a dozen. These are ok but not spectacular. You can get better just a half mile further west at Daily Donuts.

The site has tried to branch out beyond donuts but the results here are mixed. The breakfast sandwiches are $4 for essentially airline food; you're getting a pre packaged, microwaved egg, cheese and sausage bun. Not inedible but nothing to wake up early for. Perhaps the ice drinks are better for the hot Houston afternoons but I haven't tried those yet.

Ultimately, this shop is what you'd expect from a highly corporatized, standardized franchise. A baseline catering to the least common denominator at a higher price. You could do worse, and you could also do better.

Today was my first time at the Spring Cypress/249 location. When I first drove up to the drive thru to place my order the guy on the other end starts the conversation by saying "what would you like?" No formal greeting that most fast food places give in the drive thru. Once I told him my order he then repeats one thing correct then i have to give him the full order again piece by piece. As he finishes he says "ok, come to the window." That was my first red flag of horrible customer service. When I get to the window a girl comes up with the drink orders. No smile and a rude/annoyed when i asked about adding cream to my iced coffee. Once she returns with my card and no receipt i ask for one and she looks very annoyed again... and said "um the receipt machine isn't working" but I only caught the last part of that sentence because she had turned away and the window shut. So I sat there for 2-3 minutes (mind you there's 5+ cars behind me) and finally someone (i assume a manager) comes to the window with an annoyed face and asked "can I help you?" I said I'm waiting for my receipt... she then rolls her eyes and goes back to the computer and takes another 2-3 minutes and then came back to the window to tell me she can't give me a receipt unless she refunds my order and redo the transaction. For the sake of the people behind me, I ended up telling her that this was the worst customer service experience and drove off while she screamed something at me as I drove away which I'm unsure of.

Customer service is a complete joke
Food was stale and so not worth the $
    Drinks were average

    Will not be returning.

The stire close early.. schedule at 10:00pm.
But we were there 9.20.. the store front sign still say open.. when they saw us at the frobt door the turned off the dining area.
Then we drove the drive through and we saw them running away.

    So not professional.
If the store is close.. just come and tell us that you no longer take order.

Been here a few times since they opened. At first, I thought the slow service and limited variety was due to growing pains. But after several more stops, nothing has changed.

My most recent visit cost me $10 for dry, stale donuts at 9:00am. When I called & spoke to the manager, he assured me that the donuts were made that morning.  Uh, no way do they dry out like that in hours.
    I won't be back.

Got to the drove-thru and ordered my husbands usual, large iced hazelnut coffee, cream and sugar. Received his drink and he took a sip as I pulled out from the parking lot. Sure enough, the order was wrong. Absolutely no sugar nor hazelnut. Had to turn around and have them make a new cup. Such an inconvenience...
